§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce amending rules so that police forces in Wales are required either to make available the Welsh language version of firearms form 15 in every instance in which the English language version of the form is sent out, or send out the English only version with an attached note indicating that the Welsh language version is available.

§ Mr. HurdThe working party on the administration of the Firearms Act 1968 has set up a sub-group to review the forms used in the operation of the firearms licensing system. This sub-group is still working and my right hon. and learned Friend has decided to ask it to consider how best to publcise the availability of the Welsh language versions of Firearms Forms 14 and 15. He is also asking the sub-group to consider whether Welsh language versions of other firearms forms should also be provided.
