HC Deb 08 May 1984 vol 59 c369W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services why his Department ceased funding of the Derbyshire royal infirmary's project of specially designed furniture for disabled people.

Mr. Newton

The work at Derbyshire royal infirmary occupied a period of five—six years. In its second stage the objective was to define prescription criteria for moulded seating. The work was completed and the final report received last year. No proposals for further work have been received.
