§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many persons he proposes to appoint to undertake each of the reviews he has announced into, respectively, provision for retirement, housing benefit, supplementary benefit, disability payments, and benefits for children and young persons; and how many in each case he has so far appointed, and who they are.
§ Dr. BoysonThe membership of the inquiry into provision for retirement and its sub—group on portable pensions were given in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Lewisham, West (Mr. Maples) on 14 February at column 157–58. The disablement survey is a research study, to be conducted by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys. The members of the other reviews, whose leaders were announced by my right hon. Friend on 2 April at column 652–60 will be announced shortly.
