Mr. Corrie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many people have died from causes related to drugs in Scotland in each of the past five years.

Mr. Younger

The numbers of deaths for which the underlying cause was in one of the relevant ICD categories* are shown in the table, distinguishing deaths related to drugs controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and deaths related to other drugs.
