Mr. Pavitt

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report a table listing the diplomas for which state registered nurses working within the National Health Service can compete, the duration of the study period, and the additional increment awarded on the attainment of each diploma.

State registered nurses meeting the appropriate academic entry criteria are able to take courses leading to the award of diplomas in nursing as follows. No additional increments are payable on the attainment of these diplomas.
