§ Mr. HurdIn the financial year 1982–83, the total primary rental payable to the IBA by independent local radio contractors was £4,985,000, and the secondary rental, payable by four companies, £731,000 (net of amounts retained). In addition, three companies made levy payments to the Exchequer totalling £567,000.
