HC Deb 02 May 1984 vol 59 c158W
Sir John Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what evidence he has that at some places at holiday time necessary medical and dental attention is not provided within the National Health Service or otherwise; and what arrangements are directed to be made.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

We have no evidence to support this allegation so far as the National Health Service is concerned. Arrangments are made locally for emergency cover, but if a specific problem has come to my hon. Friend's attention I shall be happy to have inquiries made if he will write to me about it.
