HC Deb 02 May 1984 vol 59 c141W
Mr. lain Mills

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many complaints or representations he has received since 1979 of incidents where helicopters spraying crops with pesticide sprayed wide of the field or sprayed incorrect areas.

Mrs. Fenner

Details of complaints or representations received by my Department during the period in question are not readily available. I am advised that a central record is kept by the Civil Aviation Authority, which, together with the Health and Safety Executive, has responsibility for statutory action in cases of this kind.
