Sir Bernard Braine

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish details in the Official Report of the special projects for combating drug abuse for which he has allocated £5 million for spending over the next three years.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is delaying the issue of a departmental circular to regional health authorities which reflects his response to the recommendations published in 1982 by the Advisory Council on Drug Abuse.

The preparation of the circular is well advanced and it is expected to be issued this month.
