§ Mr. Wyn RobertsData relating to applications for housing accommodation under the Housing (Homeless Persons) Act 1977 are collected in terms of number of households. During the period January to December 1983, provisional figures show that 9,191 cases of homeless households were presented to Welsh local authorities, 5,008 of which were recognised as being homeless or threatened with homelessness. Of these, 3,615 were placed in accommodation.
