§ Sir Keith Joseph[pursuant to his reply, 25 January 1984, c. 559]: The education component for each local education authority of the grant-related expenditure —GRE—assessments published in the Rate Support Grant Report (England) 1984–85 on 14 December 1983 are as follows. These figures include expenditure on all parts of the education service—including the youth service and student awards. They also include debt charges relating to capital expenditure prior to 1981–82 — and also later capital expenditure on advanced further education—and a portion of local authorities' administrative costs.
