Whether copies of all adjudication decisions and awards at prisons in England and Wales are sent to the Home Office, and what statistics are available from this material.

Copies of the records of all adjudications are sent to regional offices of the Prison Department. Statistics of awards for offences against prison discipline are produced from separate coded forms, and published each year in Chapter 9 ofPrison Statistics, England and Wales (Cmnd. 9027 for 1982).
