HC Deb 29 March 1984 vol 57 c270W
Mr. Maclean

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make arrangements to ensure that the farm quotas on milk, due to come into operation on 1 April, may be suspended if it becomes clear that other European countries are delaying in implementing the proposals.

Mr. MacGregor

[pursuant to his reply, 26 March 1984, c. 26]: In Community discussions on the milk quota proposals we have pressed, and will continue to press, for arrangements which do not discriminate against the United Kingdom either in substance or implementation.
