Mr. Brooke

The Department is responsible for the funding, by means of grant-in-aid, of the Medical Research Council which is the main public sector agency for supporting biomedical research. I understand that the MRC is funding a number of research projects on Parkinson's disease and I will write to my hon. Friend with details.
