§ Mr. MacfarlaneYes. My right hon. Friend has received one appeal under section 36, and four appeals under section 88, of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971, involving the use of these premises for religious purposes and the carrying out of certain building operations. These appeals will be transferred to a planning inspector for decision, as soon as practicable, following a public local inquiry into the issues they raise and taking into account any representations the hon. Member may wish to make to my right hon. Friend.
