The available information is for January 1983, when the pupil-teacher ratios were as follows:

Ratio
(a) Controlled secondary schools 14.0:1
(b) Maintained secondary schools 14.2:1
(c) Voluntary grammar schools 15.2:1

There are no maintained voluntary grammar schools in Northern Ireland.
