§ Mr. MacfarlaneGuidance for local authorities on the implementation of part III of the Caravan Sites Act 1968, including guidance on relevant planning matters, is contained in the Department's circular No. 28/77.
Circular 11/79 contains information about the availability of Exchequer grant towards the capital cost of providing and developing sites by local authorities. This advice was supplemented by an advisory design guide issued to all local authorities in 1979. Copies of all three documents are available in the Library.
