§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish for the years 1979–80, 1980–81 1981–82 and 1982–83, respectively, a comparison in absolute and percentage terms of the difference between budgets and outturns of current expenditure for central Government and local government, respectively.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 22 March 1984, c. 531.]: Comparisons of public expenditure White Paper plans and eventual outturn in cash are available only for 1981–82 and 1982–83. The figures are as follows:
