§ Mr. Bendallasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will consider increasing the grant figure of £14,000 for the repair of Airey houses, in view of the fact that, following the Budget, work of this nature will attract value added tax and the cost of the Leeds remedial scheme together with value added tax could exceed £14,000.
§ Sir George YoungWe are prepared to consider whether the limits should be adjusted in the light of any detailed representations which demonstrate the need for increases.
