§ Mr. Fatchettasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will compare the number of company liquidations dealt with by the Official Receiver's Office for the (a) Leeds, (b) Bradford, (c) Wakefield, (d) Harrogate, (e) Dewsbury and (f) Huddersfield areas for 1982 and 1983.
§ Mr. FletcherThe official receivers deal only with compulsory company liquidations. The receivers in the Leeds and Bradford offices are attached to the county courts in the areas in the question plus Halifax and the Official Receiver at Leeds is also attached to the Leeds district' registry of the High Court of Justice. The number of cases dealt with following winding-up orders in the various courts was as follows:
