§ Mr. Canavanasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs why none of the million loan by Her Majesty's Government to the St. Vincent and Grenadine islands agreed on their independence in 1978 has yet been paid.
§ Mr. RaisonThe St. Vincent Government have yet to spend in full the £5 million grant, which constitutes the first part of the £10 million aid agreed at independence. A loan agreement for the remaining £5 million will be drawn up as soon as the initial grant is fully committed to projects.
