§ Rev. William McCreaasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make representations to the Government of Iran concerning the violation of human rights in Iran.
§ Mr. LuceWe have on many occasions made clear to the Iranian Government our disquiet about violations of human rights. We co-sponsored the resolution on this question which was adopted by the United Nations Commission on human rights on 14 March 1984. The United Kingdom representative on the Commission re-emphasised our deep concern.
