§ 24. Mrs. Jill Knightasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to strengthen the regulations governing the issue and use of tax exemption certificates and vouchers in the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
§ Mr. Ian StewartThe regulations governing the issue and use of sub-contractors' tax certificates apply equally to all parts of the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland. These regulations are in general adequate for their purpose and we have no plans to strengthen them.
