§ Sir George YoungNo housing association grant has been paid to Thames Valley housing society in respect of Islip manor estate, Northolt. The housing society has management control only of that estate; the owners remain First Turret housing association. Interim housing association grant payments for the construction of the estate have been made to First Turret in 1980 and 1982 totalling £3,697,484 inclusive of allowances and interest.

§ Sir George YoungI understand that the Thames Valley housing society, with the benefit of loans advanced by Ealing council, has undertaken emergency repair works to improve the living conditions of tenants on the estate. The society has plans for further repairs, and I will consider any application for housing association grant at the appropriate time.
