§ Mr. FletcherThe Council on March 2 concentrated on the question of the extent to which there should be a financial limit to a producer's liability. I indicated that we are in general opposed to such limits since we foresee serious practical difficulties but that we are prepared to look constructively at suggestions for a compromise solution on this aspect of the directive.
