Member for Linlithgow, which proposes that both the United Kingdom and Argentina should abandon their claim to the Falkland Islands.

§ Mr. WhitneyWe have no intention of renouncing our sovereignty over the Falkland Islands.
§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will arrange for an all-party committee to visit the Falkland Islands.
§ Mr. WhitneyMy right hon. and learned Friend has at present no plans to do so. It is, of course, for Committees of the House to arrange their programmes in the manner they themselves judge to be most appropriate.
