§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Elton)Copies of the guidance which my right honourable friend the Home Secretary would propose to issue to the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis under Clause 96 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Bill now being considered in another place, and of the guidance which he would propose to issue on a non-statutory basis to police authorities outside London, are being placed in the Library of the House. Copies of these drafts are being sent to interested organisations for comment.
