§ Mr. Spencerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce legislation to enable a judge trying a criminal case on indictment in the Crown court to adjourn the proceedings upon the application of any party to the proceedings who is dissatisfied with the trial judge's ruling on any material point of law in order that the point might be decided forthwith by the Court of Appeal.
