HC Deb 14 March 1984 vol 56 c146W
27. Mr. Lambie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will introduce arrangements for a personal travel service for renal dialysis patients from Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway receiving treatment in Glasgow hospitals.

Mr. Younger

Nearly all such patients travel by ambulance, and few use their own cars, the hospital car service or public transport. I see no need for any other arrangements for conveying these patients to and from Glasgow for treatment.
