asked the Solicitor-General for Scotland if he is satisfied with the application of the Matrimonial Homes (Family Protection) (Scotland) Act 1981 so far as it concerns the Crown Office.

The only sections of the 1981 Act which directly involve procurators fiscal are those dealing with the procedure following the arrest of a spouse for breach of interdict. I am satisfied that procurators fiscal are applying these provisions properly.
