Mr. John David Taylor

asked the Prime Minister (1) what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the future membership of the United Kingdom of Wales;

(2) what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the future membership of the United Kingdom of Scotland;

(3) what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the future membership of the United Kingdom of Northern Ireland.

The Prime Minister

The Government are in no doubt that the United Kingdom will remain as presently constituted for the foreseeable future and frame their policies accordingly.
