§ Mr. LawsonDetails of the original external finance limits set for nationalised industries in 1979–80 are to be found in table 13B of that year's Financial Statement and140W Budget Report. The overall total, excluding deduction for shortfall, was £2,328 million. 1984–85 external finance limits are given in Cmnd. 9143, table 3.5, and total £1,881 million. I must, however, warn the hon. Member that the lists of industries included in the two tables are not identical.
