asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have yet submitted written observations in the case of applications Nos. 10061/82 and 10530/83, European Commission v The United Kingdom, concerning freedom of association and the closed shop; and if so, to what effect.

Her Majesty's Government are currently considering the applications cited with a view to submitting early written observations on them to the European Commission of Human Rights.
