Whether they have yet submitted written observations in the case of applications Nos. 10061/82 and 10530/83, European Commission v The United Kingdom, concerning freedom of association and the closed shop; and if so, to what effect.
The Minister of State, Privy Council Office, and Minister for the Arts (The Earl of Gowrie)Her Majesty's Government are currently considering the applications cited with a view to submitting early written observations on them to the European Commission of Human Rights.
