§ Sir David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how he proposes to review future provision for higher education.
§ Sir Keith JosephI expect to receive in the Summer advice from the University Grants Committee and the National Advisory Body for Local Authority Higher 45W Education on the development of a strategy for higher education into the 1990s, formulated in the light of responses to the wide-ranging consultative exercises on which they are engaged. I shall consider that advice and the product of a number of other studies currently in hand or in prospect and hope to bring forward proposals for consideration before the end of the year.
