§ Mr. HurdThe GLC and all counties in England and Wales receive civil defence grant aid for emergency planning staff.
Only estimated complements, submitted in July and August 1983, are available for 1983–84. Actual complements have been returned for 1982–83. Information on clerical support staff is not held centrally.
