§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting was 747W established in accordance with section 1 of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1979 only on 1 November 1983 and so far has not been able to submit details of specific research projects which it would like our Department to support. We are, however, in close contact with the council about research in nurse education.
