§ Mr. Peter Bruinvelsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will publish the number of pupils accepted for first form entry each September for the past five years in secondary schools in both the city of Leicester and in the county of Leicestershire; and if he will give the estimated figures for September 1984.
§ Mr. DunnIt is estimated that 20,840 pupils entered the first form in maintained secondary schools including middle deemed secondary schools in Leicestershire in September 1982. Figures for earlier years could be provided only at disproportionate cost. No estimates are available centrally for later years. Data for the city of Leicester could also be provided but only at disproportionate cost.
