The White Paper, "Regional Industrial Development" (Cmnd. 9111) published on 13 December 1983 invites views by 31 May 1984 on a number of issues, including assisted area coverage. The assisted area map will then be reviewed and it is thus too early to say how the review will affect particular parts of the country.
