HC Deb 07 March 1984 vol 55 c595W
Mr. Terlezki

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many loans have been made to companies under the loan guarantee scheme in Cardiff since the inception of the scheme, broken down between companies with turnovers not exceeding £50,000, £100,000, £200,000 and £500,000; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Trippier

I am afraid that figures are not available on a local basis, nor is it possible to break them down between companies according to turnover. However, in the whole of Wales 650 guarantees had been issued in respect of £19.6 million of bank lending up to 31 January 1984.
