§ Sir Geoffrey Finsbergasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make representations to the Government of Uganda in respect of blocked bank accounts and Ugandan Government stock so that arrangements can be made for persons resident in the United Kingdom to receive moneys rightfully due to them.
§ Mr. WhitneyFresh representations were made about this in February. We now await advice from the Government of Uganda on the steps which the owners of such moneys and stock may take to secure their remittance to the United Kingdom.
