§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what representations he has had from the Royal Society about minimum projections for future student demand.
§ Mr. BrookeThe Royal Society sent a copy of its paper "Demographic Trends and Future University Candidates" to my right hon. Friend in May last year. Officials of the Department have since had discussions with officers of the society as part of our review of the Department's 1983 projections of demand for higher education, which we expect to be completed by about Easter.
