§ Mr. BrookeThe Open University's recurrent grant for 1984 is £58.679 million. Its recurrent grants for 1985 and 1986 have provisionally been set at £59.1 million and £58.2 million, respectively, but are subject to review in future public expenditure surveys. Pay and price increases have to be accommodated within these figures. The level of these grants at 1984 prices will depend on cost increases in 1985 and 1986.
