HC Deb 06 March 1984 vol 55 c553W
Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing in pence per pound or other unit of sale the amount of the levy on imports from third countries under the common agricultural policy of each commodity to which the regime applies, the level of the target/sluicegate or other desired market price, and the intervention or guaranteed price; and if he will include figures for sheepmeat and liquid milk.

Mr. MacGregor

Most of the information requested, was given, for the main commodities in my reply to the hon. Member on 23 February 1984, at c. 595. The United Kingdom levy on bulk liquid milk of 3.7 per cent. fat content was £121.5 per tonne on 3 February 1984.
