§ Mr. Robert Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will report on the building progress of the international conference centre at Broad Sanctuary.
§ Sir George YoungThe construction of the international conference centre remains on programme. As I advised my hon. Friend in my answer on 30 March 1983, at column171 the building contract is due to be completed on 21 January 1986 and the fitting out and commissioning in April 1986. The building was 'topped out' on 25 January 1984 by my hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Construction.
