HC Deb 02 March 1984 vol 55 c347W
Mr. John Carlisle

asked the Attorney-General what measures he is taking specifically against those broadcasting illegally from offshore waters.

The Attorney-General

The Director of Public Prosecutions has recently considered a report from the Suffolk constabulary relating to offences against the Marine etc. Broadcasting (Offences) Act 1967. He has asked the police to make further inquiries before he can reach a decision as to prosecution.
