§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if, in view of imminent risks to the project in the absence of action to supplement the private venture capital which has so far been provided, he will urgently consider public funding of the work of the Manchester division of British Aerospace on the advanced turbo prop project.
§ Mr. ButcherI refer the right hon. Member to the statement yesterday by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. British Aerospace has now announced production of the advanced turbo prop aircraft.
