§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Birmingham, Perry Barr, on 27 February, what was the total number of in-depth investigations of accounts of companies, partnerships and trusts in the year ended 31 October 1983, including those which resulted in increased tax being payable.
