§ Mr. DunnNo. Section 12(6) of the Education Act 1980 requires my right hon. Friend to consult the LEA if he wishes to propose a modification to their proposals. My right hon. Friend is now considering Manchester's reply to the Department's letter of 5 June and will make known his final decision on the proposals shortly.
