§ Mr. Speedasked the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has for ordering further Castle class patrol vessels or their derivatives.
§ Mr. LeeTwo Castle class patrol vessels were ordered in August 1980 and were accepted into service in 1981 and 1982. Consideration is currently being given to the placing of further orders.
