§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsTaking together the financial years 1981–82, 1982–83 and 1983–84, offers of regional selective assistance made by my Department amounting to £1.6 million were accepted by companies in the carpet industry in Wales. This assistance was in the form of grants under Section 7 of the Industrial Development Act 1982. For reasons of commercial confidentiality, details for the individual years cannot be disclosed.
